Inspired by her children, Jada “Camille,” and Jamar “Anthony", La'Vinnia Holliday founded Camille Anthony in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2011 after recovering from an intense medical procedure, serving as an endless wellspring of inspiration, vision, and passion blending the worlds of arts and music. 

 

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, her love for sunny beaches and palm trees remained even after her family relocated to Birmingham, Alabama. Her love of fashion evolved from a simple sketch of her dream prom dress in the 10th grade. Becoming more interested in fashion, she continued to sketch ideas, and a few years after she graduated, Despite lacking any sewing experience, this Florida native embarked on her journey as a self-taught designer, handcrafting each piece in her studio. With her distinctive vision, she continues to push boundaries with each collection revolutionizing women’s swimwear, thus transforming the poolside and beach experience into one filled with joy and confidence. 

 

After earning degrees in business administration and marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, La'Vinnia relaunched with a brand new and designed four collections bringing a fresh wind to swimwear,​ La'Vinnia lives in Birmingham with her children Jada and Jamar. In 2021, she founded Poze Bazaar Foundation, a creative arts nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of the creative arts, culture, and education, and fostering the growth and development of the next generation of artists.
